8-31-19 Carmel Area Wastewater District Community Outreach at The Monterey County Fair
The District was well represented at this year’s Fair and received an impressive thumb’s up from the public. Our purpose (in addition to enjoying the Fair) is to educate the public about best sewer practices and tell them specifically what CAWD does. The District handed out informational brochures, sewer color books for children, and foam emoticon “Poop”. No surprise, the “Mr. Poop” emoji was the most popular take away!
CAWD is already making plans for next year's fair.
